Illustration war mein Hauptfach, obwohl ich mir gar keine Gedanken gemacht habe, ob man damit einen Job bekommt. Ein paar Jahre habe ich so bei Prof. Karl-Heinz Meyer verbracht. Trotz aller Schwierigkeiten habe ich meinen Abschluss bei ihm gemacht. Später im Beruf habe ich nur im Layout illustrativ gearbeitet – da gab es noch keine Computer. Illustrationen habe ich als Gestaltungsmittel relativ wenig eingesetzt und für neue Bilder war neben Beruf und Familie kaum Zeit.
Illustration was my main subject, allthough I didn't had any idea about a job. So I stayed some years at Prof. Karl-Heinz Meyer. Nevertheless all difficulties I made my diploma at him. Later in job I worked on illustration for layout only – there weren't any computer at that time. I used illustrations relative rare as an art medium and for new pictures there was hardly any time beside job and family.
